- This is me

I am a normal woman in her early 40. I has a fulfilling career, a loving family, and a wide circle of friends. I am faces a daily challenge that few people know about: Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS). This is my story of resilience and how i am continues to live life despite the discomfort of RLS.

Now i am ready to give others tips and trix that i have had good effect of throw all this years. I am encourages others that dels with RLS condition to seek help and find strategies that work for them.

The unseen challenge

RLS is a condition that causes an irresistible urge to move the legs, usually accompanied by uncomfortable sensations. For me, these sensations can range from mild tingling to intense, uncontrollable urges, particularly in the night. 
No one can see this pain and the struggles i am going throw and i am hiding the sleepless nights and drowning in coffee nug after nug. 

Managing RLS Day-to-Day

I starts my day with a set routine that helps manage her symptoms. I had to incorporates morning stretches and walks. This is an important step to get the body going before i start work. At work, i uses a standing desk and makes sure to take short breaks to walk around.

Nights Struggles

Nights are often the toughest part of RLS. The sensations in my legs are often peaking out at night, making it difficult to fall asleep. To ease my symptoms, i am uses to take a warm bath following with a leg massages. 

Professional Help 

Recognizing the need for professional advice has been hard for me, but i was desperate to sleep and consulted with a doctor. After trying several different meds for several years, I decided to live without. Finding myself and my inner peace makes me more satisfied with myself and my self-image.
